Have any funny moments from your work? My favorite was from when I was working as an assistant switchboard operator at a local agency which offered rehab servisces to blind people. This one lady called us and said her mother was a client of ours. She told us that they were moving soon and asked if we could provide a Dumpster for her. Now the agency provided braille transcription, mobility and computer training and other such services, and even eye exams, but not Dumpsters. I was laughing so hard I had to hand the phone over to my supervisor to have her tell the lady that.
Rotfl! A dumpster? Well, I haven't really had a job yet, I've jsut done some proofing brailel at home, so I don't have much to contribute to this one. Lol. But this story made me grin!
